Day 1 : Arrival Kuching
Upon arrival at Kuching International Airport, transfer to hotel.
Note: Standard check in time after 1500hrs.

Day 2 : Kuching [ B, D ]
Semenggoh Wildlife Centre is the best place in Sarawak to view semi - wild orangutans who have been rescued from captivity and trained to survive in the surrounding forest reserve. The rehabilitated animals roam freely in the rainforest and return at feeding times an d thanks to its successful breeding programmed , there is a good possibility of experiencing one of the most heart - warming sights in Borneo of an orangutan mother with a young baby. The centre is a 30 - minute drive from Kuching and another 20 minutes by foot passing ethno - botanical gardens with their unique collection of rainforests plants. Transfer back to your hotel.
In the evening, your guide will meet you at your hotel and together you will walk to the quaint Kuching Waterfront with a long stret ch of tropical gardens, along the Sarawak River. The most unique feature about Kuching’s Waterfront are the traditional sampans – small gable - roofed wooden boats which serve as river taxi, carrying passengers from one riverbank to the other.
Listen to yo ur guide’s explanation about the history of Kuching’s River taxis, which date back to the era of Sarawak’s White Rajahs, while strolling along the Waterfront towards the sampan jetty.
Upon arrival at the jetty, you will board a sampan and cruise along th e Sarawak River. You will be awed by the striking contrast of the bustling modern city centre on one side of the river, and the serenity of typical Malay villages on the other side. The cruise will also pass some of the colonial buildings from the era of t he White Rajahs, providing you with a good opportunity to take lovely pictures while your guide introduces you to the unique history of Sarawak and its Rajahs. If weather permits, you will witness a breathtaking sunset over the Sarawak River. Enjoy the bea utiful scenery along Sarawk River.
Later , you will have a dinner at of the local house.

Day 3 : Kuching – Village [ L, D ]
A short coffee stop, before driv ing up to Village (1hr 15min) for an authentic Bidayuh lunch ( all the food s, ingredients are home grown by local family farm or collected /sourced from the wild jungle ). After lunch in the afternoon, continue visit the original Bidayuh village and longhouse to see & experience how the natives live in their habitat, which has been passed down through the generation. Learn how bamboo plays an integral part in their lives. Visit the local ala - resort Christian missionary primary boarding school and the basket/mat weaver house.
Night trek (optional due to weather condition)
After dinner, take a short evening walk sighting small creatures of the night. Fireflies with their blinking lights are always the favorite even among locals. Alternative option to mingle with the locals or have a free and easy time at our ‘surrounded by trees’ balcony.

Day 4 : Village – Jungle Trek & Bamboo Cooking [ B, L, D ]
After breakfast we will trek through the forest & jungle to the family farm (25 mins) hike. Along the way you will be introduced to the local flora & wild herbs/veggies and their uses. Enroute you will have the chance to carry out ‘jungle shopping’, (gathering edible fruits, shoots & leaves to be cooked and consumed at the farmho use) . You will also see the local varieties of crops planted for local consumption as well as commercial cash crops sold daily by the locals. At the farmhouse you will witness & participate in bamboo cooking. All the dishes are prepared and cooked with the specially prepared bamboo utensils. Even our herbal tea is sourced locally from the jungle, cooked in bamboo & served in bamboo cups. These delicacies cannot be found in any restaurant! You can take a refreshing dip in the cool mountain stream and see the local fish species, assist with the farm work or just relax in the farmhouse. Trek back to Village, after dinner we will go for an evening walk to see the creatures of the night, fireflies with their blinking lights are always a favourite, even among the locals. After that you can laze around with the locals and listen to their stories. For those who want to stay up longer, rice wine & beer is on sale at the village shop.

Day 5 : Waterfall Trek – Kuching [ B, L ]
After breakfast, we will trek to the waterfall (35 min) walk for a refreshing swim or just to marvel at mother nature’s creation. You will have the chance to listen to the beautiful symphonies of the forest & rivers which is like music to the ears. Here, y ou will also be introduced to the local flora & wild herbs and their uses. If you are lucky enough to visit during the summer months you will witness the beautiful colours of the jungle and wildflowers in bloom . Trek back to Village for lunch before drivin g back to Kuching.
After lunch, departure at 2pm , bidding goodbye returning transfer to Kuching.

Day 6 : Kuching [ B ]
Experience the bustle of Sarawak’s historic capital as we explore Kuching, one of Borneo’s most interesting and pleasant cities, by foot. This walkabout tour commences at Kuching waterfront visiting the Tua Pek Kong Chinese Temple and the Chinese Historica l Museum where Fort Margherita can be viewed from the other side of the Sarawak River. From the temple, we walk past the old shop houses of Carpenter Street passing the General Post Office, the Round Tower, the Pavilion, the Brooke Memorial Monument, the S quare Tower and the Old Court House.
We proceed to India Street through a narrow passageway to Masjid India with very low walls to Gambier Street before continuing to Brooke Dockyard and Dockyard Lane passing the Old Fire Brigade Station (known now as the open - air market) and Merdeka Square to reach St Thomas’s Cathedral for a short visit. Our tour concludes at the Sarawak Museum which houses archaeological and cultural significant artefacts which we can enjoy at our pace and then transfer t o the Cove 55.
